CLASSES
Something for Everyone
Kryhas Art House offers an open art studio where students, with the help of a teacher-guide, can create art using different techniques in their own way. Students are grouped by age, and each student has individual support that is adjusted to his or her ability and needs. Learn more about our programs below to find one that fits what you and your child are looking for.

ACRYLIC PAINTING
Students use just three simple colors--red, yellow, and blue. In the class, they learn how to mix colors and paint beautiful, original images. All of our classes focus on the process, rather than the end result, of art. Here, we consider that each piece of art created is an honest and thoughtful masterpiece that reflects a student's mind, experiences, and imagination. Call us today to find out more. Spaces are limited, so it’s best to act fast!
MIXED MEDIA
Students work with a host of materials--oil paint, markers, pen, pencil, watercolor, acrylic paint--to create unique projects. They unleash their imagination while they learn how to work with different art styles. This is a good option for students looking for a survey of art.
DRAWING
Students draw with pencil, color pencil, markers and ink on their choice of a paper medium. In drawing classes, students will develop their observation, shading, line, value, and contrast skills. This is a good program for students looking to develop foundational art skills.

PAINTING ON FABRIC
Students use fabric paint and markers to create beautiful art on interesting mediums like silk, canvas, cotton, nylon, felt, wool, and other materials. They will learn how to work with rougher, less conventional materials and develop key skills useful for at-home craft projects, interior decorating, fashion, and costume design.
OIL PAINTING
Students learn how to work with oil paint to create beautiful images on canvas. Because oil paint takes a long time to dry, students have the chance to devote serious time and effort to their projects, learning how to built on and improve their work rather than starting all over from scratch. For students above 12 years old.
MINDFULLNESS WITH ART
Students create art that focuses on the inner-processes of creation. This program is eclectic. It asks that students focus on their most personal selves by meditating on the present moment and translating it into meaningful art. This program will improve self-esteem, encourage self-reflection, and develop key art skills.
